Abstract
Series of 48 plane table topographic survey worksheets depicting existing Baltimore Harbor conditions for a portion the Patapsco River. These original worksheets were used to generate tracings for distribution. Only one of the tracings survived (PA07A), and is found in the archives of the Maryland Port Administration. Scale of each worksheet is 1:2,400. There is no index map for this series. The grid and coordinate system shown is a local system with origin at a former flagstaff inside Ft McHenry. Also included is an Excel coordinate conversion spreadsheet so that the images can be correctly georeferenced using a geographic information system, such as ArcGIS.
Description
These digital images were produced in the Summer/Fall of 2011 from the original worksheets held by the Maryland Port Administration.
