Abstract
“J.L.” is a member of the Johns Hopkins University graduating class of 2020. In this interview, J.L. describes growing up in Naples, Florida and why he decided to attend Johns Hopkins. He also discusses his interest in political science, particularly international relations and his experience as a student in the Johns Hopkins dual BA/MA program with the School of Advanced International Studies. This oral history is part of the First-generation Students oral histories series.
