Description
Bassist Charlie Harris performed with the Nat King Cole Trio for fourteen years. Harris's elegant sound and polished playing is perfectly suited to Cole's sophisticated style. Harris can be heard performing with Cole on After Midnight and Penthouse Serenade recorded in 1952. Before touring with Nat King Cole, Harris was a member of the house band at the Royal Theatre. He also performed at the Club Orleans on Baltimore's East Side.
