Description
Mercedes Douglas formed the Girls Choir in 1941. The group, which performed in churches throughout the Baltimore area, was active until the late 1950s. Medford Campbell, Floyd Adams, Audrey McCallum and Ruth Knox all served as accompanists for the choir. (Photo courtesy of James Nathan Jones)
